Upcoming Events...
There are currently 3 upcoming caving trips on our calendar. Click here to submit your own trip.

Note - All non-members please check with someone before showing up for a trip. This is to make sure you know what is involved and to find out if its a restricted trip for members only. Thank you.

Vertical Rescue Training.
There have been several inquires lately about local cave rescue training. In response, the Pacific Northwest Region of the NCRC is pleased to present Self-Rescue in the Vertical Cave Environment in Trout Lake, Washington on September 20th & 21st. Topics include pick-offs, rigging for contingencies, counter-balances, mechanical advantage, overcoming edges, minimal equipment, and organizing a rescue. This is not about becoming a member of a call-out rescue team. This is about small-party techniques you can use to help your fellow cavers should something happen while you are on a caving trip.

For more information, the seminar brochure, including registration information, can be found at http://ncrc. info. The seminar is only a month and a half away so be sure to start planning now. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Aaron
